About Us
Maasai Volunteering Solutions
We are a Maasai community of 32 villages in Northern Tanzania’s Longido District. Our goal is to improve the quality of life in our villages, addressing the challenges posed by prolonged drought. We are committed to gaining knowledge and expertise to initiate projects for community growth and prosperity.
Taking a Stand Against Drought and Erosion
Using manure, Tanzanian Technology and bringing knowledge
Severe drought is crippling our main source of sustenance and income, cattle farming, while compromising our health with dust and wildlife threats. This crisis leads to species loss and forces us to share scarce water resources, endangering our lives.
